XSI previews conversational voice support for LodeStone and XSI-AIMS agents

Updated September 6, 2026: XSI LodeStone™ is a sovereign agentic operating system built on Linux and governed through XSI-AIMS.

Extended Systems Intelligence Corporation (XSI) introduced conversational voice support in preview for XSI LodeStone™ and XSI-AIMS™ for the Microsoft Agent Framework. Teams can reach an agent through speech during a live conversation.

What it does

In preview, an agent can participate by speech, answer and receive interruptions in a live interaction. XSI LodeStone runs the core conversation and governance in the customer’s environment. Any external service connection remains subject to its own authorized data path.

A new surface under the same authority
Voice is in preview; broader native participation in team tools remains a roadmap item.
The case for presence

The companion whitepaper, Meet Us Where We Work, discusses agents participating in the tools and interactions a team already uses.

Gap: what XSI isn't claiming

Voice support is an early preview offered to a limited audience. Native participation across Microsoft Teams, Slack, Azure DevOps, Jira, the wiki and other team tools remains on the roadmap.

From the founder

"Teams talk. They interrupt, they redirect, they say 'not like that' before the work goes too far in the wrong direction — and almost none of that is ever typed anywhere," said Rhyan J. Neble, founder of Extended Systems Intelligence. "An agent you can only reach by typing sits outside that entirely. Voice is where presence starts. And it ships the way everything we build ships — governed by default, on infrastructure the customer controls, with a human at the top of the chain."

Availability

Conversational voice support is available in preview for XSI LodeStone™ and XSI-AIMS™ for the Microsoft Agent Framework as of June 2026, by invitation and waitlist. Scope and availability are subject to change during preview.
